Humewood Golf Club is South Africa's only true links course, located in the coastal city of Gqeberha. Opened in 1931, the course features 18 holes with wide, undulating fairways characteristic of traditional links golf. The layout spans 180 acres and is surrounded by coastal brush with fast greens and deep bunkers designed to withstand strong coastal winds. The course is ranked 9th among South Africa's top golf courses and 97th globally.

Notable signature holes include The Bones (Hole 3), The Devils Elbow (Hole 6), Triple Threat (Hole 12), the Signature Hole (Hole 13), and The Fort (Hole 14). The course has hosted significant tournaments, including the South African Amateur and South African Open championships in 1934. The majestic clubhouse sits at the centre of the course, and the club offers full practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green. The terrain presents moderate to challenging difficulty, with the links-style design and coastal conditions providing a distinctive golfing experience.
