Designed by renowned golf architect David Postlethwait, this semi-private 18-hole championship course stretches 6,542 yards and plays to a par 71, meandering beautifully through the scenic Hedingham Community and along the Neuse River. The course features modern amenities including GPS-equipped EZ-GO carts and cutting-edge TrackMan Range technology.

This is a challenging course, requiring some accuracy to score well. There are some mounds around the greens and in the fairways that can cause uneven lies. The greens are medium-sized and undulating, and some of the fairways are tight. Water hazards come into play on eight holes. The course features Champion Bermuda greens and includes a putting green, driving range, pro shop and snack bar.

The signature hole is #9, where a large creek comes into play on three different occasions. The course was built in 1991.
