The Grey Fox Course is an 18-hole championship golf course located at Foxfire Resort & Golf Club in Jackson Springs, North Carolina, near the Village of Pinehurst. Designed by architect Gene Hamm and opened in 1968, the course is par 72 and measures 6,851 yards. The course features hilly terrain, several doglegs, and towering pines, emphasizing shot-making with a well-bunkered layout and characteristic elevated greens, requiring golfers to avoid sand and position the ball properly to get the best approach angle to the small greens.

The most scenic holes, numbers 9, 12, and 13, require well-placed tee shots with demanding approaches to multi-tiered greens that are slightly smaller than the opening holes. Bermuda fairways wind through towering pines around rolling hills and past pristine lakes, with water coming into play on nearly a third of the holes. The course is part of a 36-hole facility that also includes the Red Fox Course, both designed by Gene Hamm to take advantage of the region's natural rolling terrain and sandy soils.
