The 18-hole Green Valley course features 6,807 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by William S. Flynn, the course opened in 1916, though the club moved from their Roxborough property and acquired this course in 1944 after it had been operated as a public layout called Marble Hall Golf Course. J. B. McGovern, a long-standing associate of Donald Ross, revised and re-sequenced the course in 1946.
Situated on 182 rolling acres in Lafayette Hill, the course offers a private, William Flynn-designed 18-hole championship golf course. Green Valley is set in a valley, with the clubhouse on a high side while the far side is also high, with hilly undulations within the interior of the course fluctuating significantly. Notable features include the 525-yard par-5 3rd hole (where a creek must be carried on the second shot), and a pair of pond-guarded par 3s, the 194-yard 4th and the 156-yard 8th. The fairways are lined with mature trees, with terrain generally sloping from one side to the other, requiring players to hit many shots with the ball above and below their feet.
