Golf Village ☆ Follow

The Golf Village is a practice facility and par-3 course located in Pineville, North Carolina, south of Charlotte. The course features a 9-hole layout with holes ranging from 60 to 150 yards, designed to emphasize short-game practice and skill development. The facility sits on over 30 acres adjacent to the Little Sugar Creek greenway and includes a driving range with over 50 grass hitting stations and 20 artificial grass stations, available under lights for evening play.

Developed in 1998 by golf enthusiasts and PGA Professionals, the course provides an accessible option for beginners while offering challenges for experienced players through varied hole designs and elevation changes. Notable features include Sugar Creek running along several holes, bunkers, waste areas, and oversized 8-inch cups for beginner-friendly play. The course was renovated in 2021, and the driving range underwent major improvements in 2023.

The facility serves as a short-game practice destination for golfers of all skill levels, including those preparing for full-length rounds. On-site amenities include PGA professional instruction and Middle James Brewery, an on-property brewhouse with restaurant facilities, creating a combined golf and entertainment destination.
