Golf de Mimizan

Situated between lake and ocean near the Château de Woolsack, Golf de Mimizan is a municipal course benefiting from an exceptional natural setting. The course comprises 9 holes measuring 2,835 meters with a par of 36, having been redesigned in 2011 to offer increased technical difficulty and qualify for official competitions.

The layout respects the terrain's natural configuration, alternating between wooded areas and preserved dune relief. The course presents moderate difficulty with characteristic elements including its response to natural topography. A clubhouse opened in 2017 provides facilities, managed in part by the Golf Club de Mimizan. Supporting amenities include a practice area with approximately twenty stations, four of which are covered, alongside a putting green, chipping green, and pitching green.

The course welcomes newcomers through regular open days held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, offering complimentary club rental and instruction. The sports association provides course guidance and club information to prospective golfers.
