Golf de Biscarrosse spans 50 hectares of pines and oaks in the Landes department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, located south of the Arcachon Basin and 75 kilometers from Bordeaux. The course is set within the preserved Landes forest, offering a verdant setting between forest, lake, and the Atlantic Ocean.
The facility comprises two courses: the 18-hole "Forêt-Océan" (Par 71, 5,674 meters), a challenging layout on rolling dune terrain designed by Pierre Veyssières, and the 9-hole "Lac" course (Par 32, 2,172 meters), a shorter but technical layout. The course was developed in phases—the first nine holes opened in 1989 (designed by Olivier Brizon), nine additional holes in 1991, and the full 27 holes in 2005.
The course features comprehensive practice facilities including a 25-station practice range with 7 covered bays, putting green, and pitching green. Additional amenities include a clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant specializing in local cuisine, equipment rental, and golf instruction programs for all levels, including junior golf academy sessions for children aged 6-15 and baby golf from age 3.
