Golf d'Arcachon is an 18-hole international golf course located on the Atlantic coast near the Arcachon Basin, approximately 60 kilometers from Bordeaux. The course measures 5,760 meters with a par of 72. Originally established as a 9-hole private course in 1895 by the Exshaw family, it expanded to 18 holes in 1960 and is now managed as a non-profit sports association open to the public.

Designed by renowned architect Cecil Blandford and realized under the direction of Pierre Hirigoyen, the course benefits from an exceptional setting adjacent to Europe's highest sand dune. The landscape features maritime pines, oak trees, strawberry trees, and mimosa flowers in a preserved natural environment.

The course layout varies in character: the front nine holes are rolling and undulating, while the back nine flatten out with water hazards incorporated as obstacles. The course appeals to both beginning and experienced players, offering technical and varied play within its natural surroundings.
