Golf & Country Club Basel

Golf & Country Club Basel is an 18-hole parkland course established in 1926, located in the Alsace region near Basel, between Wentzwiller and Hagenthal-le-Bas. The course measures par 72 and was designed by renowned architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger, himself a former elite golfer.

Situated on elevated terrain, the course features mature trees integrated thoughtfully into the picturesque landscape, offering scenic views toward the Vosges, Black Forest, and Jura mountains. The layout presents sporting challenges suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to competitive players.

The club emphasizes tradition, youth development, and sustainable course management alongside an active social community. As a member-based club, it welcomes guests and operates without advance booking requirements. The course includes a driving range and restaurant facilities, though the latter undergoes seasonal closures.
