Grand Vert Kyoto Golf Club is a 36-hole facility located in Kyotamba-cho, Katsuragi-gun, Kyoto Prefecture, situated approximately 6 kilometers from the Tanba Interchange on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway. The course is divided into two distinct 18-hole layouts: the WEST Course and the EAST Course. The WEST Course is characterized by a flat, spacious design where the pin is visible from the tee on most holes. The back nine of the WEST Course presents a higher difficulty level, specifically requiring long shots on the 11th, 14th, and 17th holes. The EAST Course features wide fairways that contain undulations, making the placement of the drive a critical strategic point. This layout is noted for its distinctive white beach bunkers and water hazards. Signature holes on the EAST Course include the 13th par-3 and the 14th par-4, which both feature water, as well as the 17th short hole. The course is an LPGA Japan Women's Professional Golf Association certified venue and has hosted the 7th Kyoto Open. The course offers multiple tee boxes for each hole, including Blue, White, Green, and Red tees, allowing for varied yardages. For instance, the 1st hole on the WEST Course plays 497 yards from the Blue tees and 313 yards from the Red tees, while the 7th hole, marked as a driving contest hole, measures 383 yards from the Blue tees. The facility accommodates various play styles and includes amenities such as a restaurant and membership options.
