Wakura Golf Club is a 18-hole, par-72 course located in Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture, on the Noto Peninsula. Opened in November 1991, the course was designed by Tsuneo Tanaka with supervision from Shunnosuke Koga. Situated in a resort-style hilly setting, the layout offers a spacious and relaxed atmosphere, making it accessible to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced golfers. The course features bent grass greens and offers a back tee course rating of 74.8, providing a challenging test for skilled players. The course measures 7,132 yards from the back tees, with regular tees at 6,621 yards and ladies' tees at 5,805 yards. The front nine totals 3,608 yards from the back tees, while the back nine measures 3,524 yards. The layout includes a mix of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes, with the longest par-5s reaching 567 yards on the front nine and 560 yards on the back nine. The par-3s range from 165 to 230 yards, offering variety in approach shots. Wakura Golf Club is positioned as the closest golf course to the Wajima Onsen hot spring area, catering to both casual players and serious competitors. The course allows for self-play with motorized carts and accommodates two-person teams, with flexibility for early morning or twilight rounds. The facility operates year-round, barring any closures due to snow accumulation.
