Located in Kashiwa, Chiba, Fujigaya Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Seizo Tomizawa. The layout is set within a forested hilly terrain, featuring trees that separate the fairways and gentle undulations that provide ample distance for powerful drives. The course offers multiple tee boxes for men and women, with yardages ranging from 5,404 yards from the forward tees to 6,884 yards from the back tees on the Bentgrass configuration. The front nine presents a mix of long par-5s and strategic par-4s. The opening hole is a 533-yard par-5 that allows for a powerful drive downhill, though the approach shot requires precision to avoid a cliff beyond the green. The fifth hole is a demanding 440-yard par-4 with out-of-bounds running along the right side, while the ninth hole features a water hazard on the left and a slope leading to out-of-bounds on the right. The back nine includes the 538-yard twelfth hole, a straight par-5 that offers a relatively straightforward approach, and the sixteenth, a 299-yard par-4 that requires a carry over a valley with out-of-bounds on both sides. Greens at Fujigaya Country Club are available in both Korai and Bentgrass varieties, with the latter offering slightly longer yardages and higher slope ratings. The course is known for its tree-lined fairways and bunkers that guard the putting surfaces, requiring accurate shot-making. Notable challenges include the uphill thirteenth hole, a par-3 with a deep bunker in front of the green, and the seventeenth, a flat par-4 where avoiding out-of-bounds on the left is critical. The course has been in operation for 60 years, maintaining its status as a wooded course in the Kanto region.
