Masuo Golf is a nine-hole miniature course located in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, positioned approximately 15 minutes from the Kashiwa city center along Route 6. The facility is designed as a scaled-down version of a full-sized golf course, offering a layout that spans 900 yards with a total par of 27. The individual holes range in length from a short 70 yards to a maximum of 150 yards, providing a compact environment focused on short-game precision. The terrain is characterized as flat, with each hole separated by evergreen trees such as pines and oaks, alongside seasonal flowering plants and deciduous trees. The course incorporates hazards including ponds and bunkers to challenge the player. A defining characteristic of the layout is the use of Korali greens, which feature steep undulations that add significant difficulty to the putting surfaces, reinforcing the course's identity as a practice ground for approach shots and putting. The facility includes a clubhouse that serves as a resting area, decorated with large nature-themed paintings, and provides locker storage for visitors. Parking is available for 65 vehicles, and rain umbrellas can be rented on-site. The course operates daily from 8:00 to 16:00, with the exception of December 31st and New Year's Day, when it remains closed.
