Forest Hills Golf Course features 18 holes with a front nine that opened in 1927 designed by William Martin, and a back nine that opened in 1954 under the design of William F. Bell and William P. Bell. The course measures 6,173 yards with a par of 72, a slope rating of 126, and a course rating of 69.7. Located twenty-five minutes west of downtown Portland among the foothills and farmlands of Cornelius, Oregon, the course features extremely hilly tree-lined fairways and well-bunkered greens. Several holes offer views of the region's historical mountains, including Mount Hood, Mount St. Helens, and Mount Adams.

The course hosted the OGA Tournament of Champions in 1972. The par-4 16th hole was named in 2017 by the OGA as one of the most interesting holes in the state. The course was sold to its present owners (the Speros family) in the early 1970s.
