Sandpines Golf Links is an 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones, located on the Oregon Coast near Florence. The par 72 course stretches 6,931 yards and is nestled among wind-swept sand dunes and towering pines with views of crystal blue lakes.
The course features two distinct nines. The front nine is sculpted through a forest of tall pines with scenic lakes reminiscent of California's Monterey Peninsula. The back nine transitions to traditional links-style golf with rolling sand dunes presenting a more classic seaside design.
Recognized as the "Best New Public Course in America" in 1993, Sandpines has maintained its reputation as a premier Northwest venue, earning a 4½-star rating from Golf Digest's "Places to Play in the USA" and ranking as the #9 best course to play in Oregon according to GolfAdvisor in 2019.
The course presents a rigorous test for golfers of all skill levels, with the combination of forest terrain, water hazards, and exposed dune landscape creating varied playing conditions across the two nines.
