Fenway Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Scarsdale, New York that opened in 1924, designed by A.W. Tillinghast. The course features 6,494 yards from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course was renovated under the supervision of Gil Hanse. Fenway features wickedly sloping greens, cavernous bunkers and tricky landing areas, with a layout featuring perhaps the finest and most varied green complexes in all America.
Often overlooked because of its famous neighbors Winged Foot and Quaker Ridge, Fenway's unique features with fantastic green complexes and interesting topography allow it to stand out. Notable features include the massive Sahara bunker on the third hole and the Principal's Nose bunkers on the 10th. The 17th hole is a 190-yard par 3 over water to a spacious green.
Golfing greats Sam Snead and Byron Nelson have lauded Fenway greens and Tommy Armour referred to the course as one of America's best, while GolfWeek Magazine routinely ranks Fenway amongst the 100 Greatest Classical Courses in the United States. The course co-hosted the stroke-play qualifying for the U.S. Mid-Amateur in 2023.
