Felixstowe Ferry Golf Course

Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club is a links golf course located on the Suffolk coast, approximately 12 miles east of Ipswich. Founded in 1880, it is the only true links course in Suffolk and one of only 246 true links courses in the world.

The club features two courses: the 18-hole Martello Championship Course and the 9-hole Kingsfleet Course. The Martello Course is the primary championship layout and requires a handicap certificate for visitor play. The Kingsfleet Course is described as a genuine test of golf despite its nine holes.

Set in a links landscape characteristic of the Suffolk coast, the courses offer natural terrain and challenging playing conditions typical of authentic links golf. The club welcomes visitors year-round with dynamic green fee pricing ranging from £60 to £100 depending on season and time of day.

Facilities include a driving range with covered and outdoor practice bays, a professional golf shop with coaching available, bar and restaurant facilities, and function rooms. The club also operates a learn-to-play program with regular group beginner classes for juniors, ladies, men, and mixed groups.
