Seckford Golf Club

Seckford Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Woodbridge, Suffolk, set in picturesque gently rolling hills. Originally founded in August 1991 as a 9-hole layout, it has developed into an established course suitable for golfers of all standards. The course measures just under 5,000 yards across all tees, with a par of 66 for men and 68 for ladies. Despite its relatively modest yardage, the course presents a deceptively challenging test, with mature trees that have grown over the decades now narrowing fairways and penalizing errant tee shots. The relatively tight layout demands accuracy rather than distance. Every hole is distinct in character, with well-maintained greens throughout. The club was named England Golf Club of the Year 2023 and describes itself as Suffolk's most progressive golf club. The clubhouse features the Nineteen Restaurant, providing dining and social facilities. The club operates year-round, seven days a week, and welcomes both members and visitors.
