East Devon Golf Club is a championship heathland course established in 1902 and redesigned by renowned architect Harry Colt in the 1920s. Situated on cliffs above Budleigh Salterton on Devon's south coast, the course commands spectacular views over the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

The rolling terrain features natural slopes that shape every hole, demanding thoughtful shot-making and precise club selection. The course is blessed with excellent drainage, allowing year-round play. The iconic 16th hole is particularly notable, with its tee described by Peter Alliss as "the best view in golf."

As a championship-length heathland layout, the course presents a true test of golf, with elevation changes adding character and challenge throughout. East Devon has hosted significant tournaments including the 2012 Ladies County Finals, 2017 English Club Championship, and 2018 English Girls Open Championship.

The course ranks in England's Top 100 and has been described by National Club Golfer as "a southern gem" and "one of the best conditioned courses" in southern England. Located less than 20 minutes from the M5 motorway at Exeter, it welcomes visitors and offers high-quality golfing and hospitality facilities.
