The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, incorporated in 1948, is a masterpiece designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones. The championship course measures an impressive 7,450 yards, with a course rating of 76.1 and a slope rating of 148. It is a challenging championship course designed on ideal land for golf; sandy, rolling terrain along the ocean with magnificent trees framing the fairways. Each hole has its own descriptive name to give golfers an idea of what to expect before they tee off.

"Waterloo," hole #13, is the signature hole of the Dunes Course where Lake Singleton comes into play for a severe dogleg right. "Waterloo" has received every accolade and award as one of the greatest golf holes in the world. The course's difficulty and design have established it as a premier championship venue.

Its storied fairways have welcomed numerous high-profile tournaments, including PGA TOUR Champions, USGA events, and collegiate as well as state amateur championships.
