Cochise Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout stretching 7,042 yards in Scottsdale, Arizona. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course is bordered by the Sonoran Desert and features rolling fairways, water hazards, and dramatic rock formations that demand precision shot-making and strategic course management.

The course's signature holes include the par-3 #7 and par-5 #15, which share a distinctive double green situated on a scenic island accessible from two different directions. Additional notable holes are #9, #13, and #18. The contoured greens and difficult terrain require golfers to trust yardages, as visual elements like bunkers, trees, and rock outcroppings can be deceptive.

Cochise has significant tournament history, having hosted The Tradition, the first major championship on the Senior PGA Tour. Nicklaus won the event at Cochise four times during his career. The course underwent an extensive 12-month restoration by Nicklaus Design that was completed in September 2024, modernizing the irrigation system while restoring original playing conditions. Nicklaus himself called it "the most picturesque golf course in the world."
