The 18-hole Dayton course at Dayton Country Club features 6,285 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, with a course rating of 71.6 and a slope rating of 131 on bent grass. The course was originally designed by Donald J. Ross and opened in 1897, with later work by Geoffrey Cornish and contributions from Albanese & Lutzke. Located south of downtown Dayton, the club is situated on a 126-acre property just minutes from the center of the city. Amenities include a driving range with short game practice facilities and an indoor teaching facility for lessons during inclement weather.
The Donald Ross-designed golf course offers incredible views and is a challenge for golfers of every skill level. The layout features classic Ross design principles with water hazards and strategic bunkering. The course features bent grass greens and bent grass fairways. Golf facilities include a full-service pro shop managed by PGA Golf Professionals and complete locker room services.
