Crane Creek Golf Course ☆ Follow

Crane Creek Golf Course in Kilbourne, Illinois, was designed by Sam Smith/Ronnie Rogers and opened in 1999. The 18-hole course is located at 24205 E Cr 700n, Kilbourne, IL 62655. Five sets of tees ranging from 5256 to 7390 yards allow players of all skill levels to enjoy the course. The Black tees play at 7390 yards with a slope rating of 135 and course rating of 75.

Nestled in the woods, outside of Kilbourne, Illinois in Mason County, Crane Creek Golf Course is one of the most scenic golf courses in all of Illinois. The course features mature trees, ponds, sand traps, bent grass fairways and fast smooth greens. Long fairways and rolling hills make the course very challenging from the Blue and White tees, while it is somewhat easier from the red and yellow tees.

The course hosted IHSA Sectional tournament play, with high school golfers from the region qualifying to compete there.
