Cougar Point is an 18-hole course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort featuring 6,875 yards of golf for a par of 72, with a course rating of 73 and slope rating of 134. Designed by Gary Player, the course opened in 2017 following an extensive 10-month renovation, reopening on October 1, 2017. Located at Kiawah Island in Charleston County, South Carolina, the course features dramatic marsh vistas and superior playability. The course wanders in and out of Kiawah's scenic marshes and is very friendly to players at all skill levels.

The course features short and long par-4s, great risk/reward par-5s, and extremely scenic and challenging par-3s. The signature 6th hole is a 180-yard par 3 that forces a carry over water or marsh area to a green that is twice as deep as it is wide, making it a do-or-die shot. Scenic holes along Kiawah River and reachable risk/reward par 5s give players scoring opportunities, while water comes into play on several holes, particularly on the back nine. The course was a filming location in The Legend of Bagger Vance and scored a near-perfect 4.5 stars in Golf Digest's Best Places to Play, earning "Golf Course of the Year" accolades from the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association.
