Costa Navarino - The Dunes Course

The Dunes Course is Greece's first signature-designed golf course, opened in May 2010. Designed by two-time US Masters Champion Bernhard Langer in association with European Golf Design, this 18-hole championship course features a par-71 layout measuring 6,581 yards from the back tees. Located beside The Romanos and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino, the course offers spectacular sea and river views within a diverse natural landscape.

The course incorporates distinctive links-style features near the coast, with holes traversing olive and fruit groves inland and along the meandering Sellas River. Its design combines generously wide fairways, large undulating greens, and steep-faced pot bunkers, creating a unique blend of playability and challenge. The course reflects the rugged mountain outlines and transitions from coastal links characteristics to softer inland terrain.

Multiple tee sets accommodate golfers of all levels. Notable features include spectacular elevation changes at Hole 6 with expansive views, the challenging uphill Hole 7 par-5, and links-style hazards near the sea. The course presents a genuine test while remaining accessible, with strategic bunkering and green complexes requiring thoughtful shot placement.
