Towada Kokusai Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Inokurase, Rokunohe, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. The property spans 693,000 square meters and sits on a raised hilltop, offering expansive views of the surrounding landscape. The course was designed and constructed by Muramatsu Construction Co., Ltd., with supervision by course architects Toshiichi Nakamura and Asao Ishii. It opened on June 8, 1964, and is operated by Aomori Prefecture Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The layout is characterized by gentle undulations that facilitate a flowing round. The fairways are lined with a variety of fruit trees, including apples, blueberries, peaches, and pears, alongside native vegetation such as Ezo rhododendrons and poplars. The course measures 6,813 yards from the tips and holds a JGA Course Rating of 72. It is a member of both the Japan Golf Association (JGA) and the Tohoku Golf Association (TGA). The front nine holes present a sequence of challenges that utilize the natural elevation changes of the terrain. The back nine continues this theme, with the course design integrating the existing topography rather than imposing severe artificial obstacles. The combination of the elevated setting and the moderate contouring allows for a strategic game where club selection and positioning are paramount. The club features a clubhouse covering 2,098.8 square meters, designed by Sanwa Architectural Design Office and constructed by Takenaka Corporation. The facility includes a restaurant and offers rental equipment such as full club sets and shoes. The course is accessible via the local road network in Rokunohe-machi, situated within the broader Towada region known for its natural beauty.
