West Ones Country Club is a links-style golf course located in Kayo, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. It is an 18-hole course designed by Pete and Perry Dye, featuring an American-Scottish style layout. The course is noted for being the only Pete Dye-designed links course in the Kansai region. The course layout presents a significant challenge, characterized by strong undulations in the fairways and greens. The total yardage varies by tee color, ranging from 5,077 yards from the Gold tees to 7,077 yards from the Black tees, with a par of 72 across all tees. The design aims to stimulate a player's competitive spirit, where the outcome can swing dramatically based on the quality of each shot. Key holes include the par-5 15th, which measures 584 yards from the Black tees and carries a handicap index of 2, and the par-5 1st, which is 574 yards long with a handicap of 3. The back nine features the par-3 11th, the shortest hole at 174 yards from the Black tees with a handicap of 16, and the par-3 14th, which is 198 yards long with a handicap of 14. The course also includes several long par-4s, such as the 10th (474 yards, handicap 4) and the 16th (466 yards, handicap 6).
