Located in Noda, Chiba Prefecture, the Noda Course at Chiba Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by architect Kinji Fujita. Opened on October 9, 1955, the course covers an area of 660,000 square meters and is recognized for its strategic design within a wooded setting. The course features a 007 (Double O Seven) green surface and offers a variety of tee boxes, with the Champion Tee measuring 7,058 yards and the Regular Tee at 6,458 yards. The Noda Course is historically significant as the first in Japan to be marketed as a "forest course." It underwent a major renovation in 2015 by Tadashi Kawada, which enhanced its strategic complexity. The layout includes a mix of par-4s, par-5s, and par-3s, with handicap indices assigned to each hole to balance the challenge across the front and back nines. The venue has a strong track record of hosting professional and amateur tournaments. It has hosted the All Japan Amateur Golf Championship in 1983, the All Japan Women's Amateur Golf Championship in 1986, and the Japan Women's Open Golf Championship in 2003 and 2018. Additionally, the course served as the host for the LPGA Step Up Tour Panasonic Open Ladies in 2016 and 2017.
