Cape Fear National at Brunswick Forest

Course Information Unclaimed

Cape Fear National is an award-winning championship course with 18 holes of premium private access golf located in Leland, North Carolina. The course is situated just six miles south of historic downtown Wilmington and 45 minutes north of Myrtle Beach, SC. Designed by acclaimed golf course architect Tim Cate, Cape Fear National features signature bunkers that extend the entire length of holes 5, 13, and 16. Built in 2009, the course is a resort-style layout that tips out at about 7,200 yards and is playable for all handicap levels.

The course meanders through heavily undulating terrain, crosses picturesque bridges over wetlands, and features three stunning waterfalls. Beach bunkers and native Southeastern North Carolina grasses and wildflowers enhance its beauty. While designed as a fun course playable for all levels, it challenges better players with native wetland areas and water hazards. In 2023, Cape Fear National underwent a significant renovation, unveiling an expanded outdoor patio with dining, casual seating, and fire pits.
