Campo Municipal de Golf Las Caldas was inaugurated in 2000 and consists of 18 holes, par 71, with a course of 5,678 meters. The course was designed by Manuel Piñero. The course is located 5 km from Oviedo, 45 km from Asturias airport, 28 km from Gijón and 30 km from Avilés. The course is situated in a zone close to the urban area but in the natural environment of Las Caldas, adjacent to the spa town of the same name, which together with Priorio castle and Piñera palace forms a trio of notable architectural monuments.

The course play is differentiated in its two routes by the topography on which it is situated. One route runs through the lower part of the valley where the River Gafo flows, introducing water into play at different times, while the upper part located north of the course has fairways requiring different technique and strategic approaches. The 18-hole course measures 6,532 meters from white tees and 5,456 meters from yellow tees, complemented by a practice bunker and 1,000 square meter putting green.
