Campo Municipal de Golf Las Caldas was inaugurated in 2000 and consists of 18 holes, par 71, with a course of 5,678 meters. The course was designed by Spain's legendary Ryder Cup pro golfer Manuel Piñero. The course is located 5 km from Oviedo, 28 km from Gijón, 30 km from Avilés and 40 km from Asturias Airport. Nestled in a natural area with ancient trees, chestnut trees, and oaks, the course features two distinct routes differentiated by orography. One route runs through the lower part of the valley where the Gafo river runs, presenting water hazards at different times, while the upper route requires different technique and strategies with various probabilities on each hole. The terrain is undulating with water hazards and poses a hard level of technical difficulty. The course measures 6,532 meters from the white tees and 5,456 meters from the yellow tees.
