Located in Misaki, Isumi District, Chiba Prefecture, Camel Golf & Hotel Resort is an 18-hole, par-72丘陵 (hilly) course spanning 6,628 yards from the regular tees. The layout is divided into an outward nine totaling 3,407 yards and an inward nine of 3,253 yards. The course features a single green and covers an area of 940,000 square meters with moderate ups and downs. The design is supervised by Masashi Ozaki and Kentaro Sato, with Shigeru Usui credited as the designer. The course presents a variety of challenges, including several downhill middle holes and water hazards. The first hole is a 342-yard downhill par-4 with a pond on the right side, while the second hole requires a 357-yard tee shot over water. The fifth hole is a 541-yard par-5 featuring a large pond in front of the green, forcing players to decide between laying up or attempting a two-shot approach. The ninth hole is a wide, flat 404-yard par-4 that rewards dynamic shots. The inward nine begins with the tenth hole, a 394-yard par-4 where the fairway narrows, bordered by a pond on the left and woods on the right. The eleventh hole is a 365-yard par-4 with a left dogleg and a back-to-front green contour. The thirteenth hole, a 297-yard par-4, is noted for its six bunkers that guard the fairway, requiring precise distance and direction control. The seventeenth hole is a 158-yard par-3 guarded by three bunkers, described as a high-difficulty short hole. The course concludes with the eighteenth hole, a 464-yard par-5 that features second-shot bunkers and grass bunkers, challenging long hitters to attempt two-shot approaches over hazards. The course also offers a Mediterranean-style clubhouse, a restaurant with course views, a competition room, a large bath, and practice facilities including an 8-lane driving range, putting green, and approach area. The resort also supports footgolf and offers glamping and hotel accommodations.
