Bonnie Briar Country Club was designed by Devereaux Emmet and opened in 1921, during the Golden Age of Westchester County golf. The 18-hole course features 6,171 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course sits on 150 rolling acres winding through the woods and natural rock formations of an old Revolutionary War encampment. The club is located at 808 Weaver St, Larchmont, New York 10538, in Westchester County.
The closing holes are set along or over the Sheldrake River, on a landscape described as having a "verdant palette of a dozen hues, from the deep emerald of fir trees to the pale jade of the willows." The course has a rating of 70.3 with a slope rating of 124 on Bluegrass. The course was renovated in 1936 by the firm of Thompson & Jones when Robert Trent Jones was a partner of Stanley Thompson. The club underwent extensive renovation and modernization in recent years, including upgrades to practice facilities and course infrastructure.
