Bellefonte Country Club, founded in 1921, is a premier golf country club located in Ashland, Kentucky. The original 9-hole course was designed by Willie Park, a renowned golf architect of the early 20th century whose family achieved notable success in professional golf, including two British Open victories. The club has evolved significantly over its history, surviving a clubhouse fire in 1927 and rebuilding under the leadership of prominent contractor H. Walter Cox, who served as club president for 20 years beginning in 1928.

The club is recognized as one of Eastern Kentucky's premier country clubs, offering a welcoming atmosphere for members and their families.
