Fazio Canyons Golf Course is a championship-caliber course located at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin's Hill Country. Designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio, the course stretches 7,433 yards and plays to a par 72. The layout features scenic holes lined with native Red Oaks and Sycamore trees, with spectacular views of the Hill Country landscape and Short Springs Branch, a limestone creek that winds throughout the course.
The course presents a balanced challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The signature finishing hole, a par-5 measuring 561 yards, is considered a standout. Built in 1999 and renovated in 2022, the course features 419 Bermuda fairways and MiniVerda Bermuda greens with Top Tracer technology on practice facilities.
Notable for environmental stewardship, Fazio Canyons was the first resort course in Texas to earn Audubon International Signature Sanctuary certification. The course has earned recognition from Golfweek's Top Golf Courses in the U.S. (2021), GOLF's Top 25 Resorts for Golf Buddies (2020), Golf.com's #1 Top Texas Tour Venues That You Can Play, and rankings among the state's best by Golf Digest.
