Carved out of the forested upland above Kootenay Lake in British Columbia, Balfour Golf & Recreation is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned Canadian architect Les Furber. The layout stretches 6,400 yards and features expertly manicured conditioning throughout. The course opened for play in 1990 and is positioned on elevated terrain with impressive views overlooking Kootenay Lake, creating one of the region's most scenic golf experiences.

The course is designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels while maintaining a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere reflective of the local Kootenay character. The design emphasizes premium conditioning and playability without sacrificing the natural landscape.
