Slocan Lake Golf Club

Slocan Lake Golf Club is a public 9-hole course located 1 km north of New Denver, British Columbia, stretching 2,682 yards. Established in 1927 with the golf course constructed in 1933, the club was formally organized as the "Slocan Lake Golf Club" in 1951.

The course features narrow fairways framed by enormous Douglas firs and larches, demanding precise shot-making from golfers of all skill levels. The layout offers lush, level fairways with picturesque views of the snow-capped peaks of the Valhalla Range. A complete 18-hole round (playing the 9 holes twice) takes approximately 3 hours.

The course presents a moderate challenge characterized by its tree-lined fairways and natural mountain setting. The clubhouse displays vintage photographs and historic golf memorabilia, including antique wooden shaft clubs, reflecting the area's rich golfing heritage. The region offers additional golf tourism opportunities, with six other courses accessible within a one-hour drive. No tee times are required to play.
