Asia Toride Country Club is a 27-hole facility located in Toride, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole loops: the Out Course, the In Course, and the West Course. Situated in the flat terrain typical of the Kanto region, the layout is characterized by generous fairways that reward distance, though precision is frequently required to navigate the numerous water hazards and bunkers that define the playing experience. The Out Course presents a mix of long par-4s and strategic par-3s. It features several lengthy mid-range holes, including a 447-yard par-4 that is noted as the most difficult on the front nine, requiring careful navigation of a water hazard in the right rough. The course includes short holes that demand accurate approach shots, with bunkers guarding the left, right, and center of the greens. The final holes of the front nine include a 551-yard par-5 where the third shot must avoid a hidden water hazard on the right, and a 321-yard par-4 that tests accuracy off the tee with bushes on the left and a side bunker on the right. The In Course is generally considered more challenging, featuring longer mid-range holes and significant water trouble. The 500-yard second hole requires a precise drive to avoid a water hazard at the 220-yard mark, while the 339-yard fourth hole offers a birdie opportunity for those who can avoid the one-penalty area on the left and the water on the right. The ninth hole is a 541-yard par-5 that serves as a signature test, featuring a deep, mound-surrounded pond 80 yards from the green that obscures the view of the putting surface. The back nine concludes with a 390-yard par-4 where players must navigate a creek on the left and water on the right. The West Course offers a different set of challenges, highlighted by a 545-yard par-5 that plays as a long right dogleg with limited visibility of the green. This loop includes several short par-3s, such as a 112-yard hole where missing the green to the right results in a creek penalty. The course features tight corridors, including a 337-yard par-4 flanked by creeks on both sides, and a 345-yard hole that forces a sharp right dogleg. The layout includes multiple water hazards that carry penalty drops, requiring players to make strategic decisions off the tee to avoid advancing three strokes.
