The facility features a clubhouse constructed in a mountain lodge style, utilizing trees from Mount Amagi, which serves as a base for players to enjoy the seasonal beauty of the region. The course offers a diverse playing experience, catering to different skill levels through its varied hole designs. It provides eighteen distinct course types, ranging from flat, beginner-friendly layouts to more strategic challenges suited for advanced players. This variety allows golfers to navigate the terrain while taking advantage of the expansive, natural setting that defines the Amagi Kogen environment. Located in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, the golf course is accessible via a short drive from the Amagi Toll Gate and approximately 45 minutes by car from Ito Station. The setting emphasizes the grandeur of the native forest and the solemnity of the highland landscape, offering a distinct atmosphere compared to coastal or urban courses. The design by Inoue aims to provide a complete golfing experience that respects and highlights the existing natural topography.
