Sandy Pipey Pro-Am 2026 is a 18-hole stableford Pro-Am competition held at Royal Dornoch Golf Club (Championship Course) on Saturday 19th September 2026. Teams of 4 consist of 3 amateurs and 1 professional. The best 2 stableford scores at each hole count towards the team score. Professionals' scores are recorded in addition to the team score. Men play from the green tees and women from the grey tees. Entry fee is £342 per team, which includes a bacon roll, tea and coffee before play, and a one-course meal after play. Entry is by ballot with the ballot date on 5th February 2026; successful entrants are notified on 6th February 2026. Do not book travel or accommodation until receiving email confirmation of your place. The maximum handicap index is 18.4 for men and 24.4 for women, with an 85% playing handicap allowance. Entry is limited to players of male and female gender who hold a World Handicap System (WHS) Handicap Index and are members of at least one recognised Golf Club affiliated to a national Golf Association authorised to adopt, manage and maintain the World Handicap System. Entries from golfers who are solely members of OpenPlay (Scotland), iGolf (Ireland/Northern Ireland/England), FlexiGolf (Wales), Links Golf (USA) or Union Clubs (USA) are not accepted. The starting field comprises 43 teams (172 competitors: 129 amateurs and 43 professionals). Tee times range from 7:30am to 2:40pm. All competitors must attend the prize-giving ceremony. Royal Dornoch Championship Course is one of the world's finest links courses, located on the north shore of the Dornoch Firth in the Scottish Highlands. Notable golf legends including Tom Watson, Ben Crenshaw, and Jack Nicklaus have played Royal Dornoch. Donald Ross, a native of Dornoch, began his legendary design career as greenkeeper and professional at the club. The dramatic location and natural amphitheatre of linksland create an iconic and formidable golfing experience.
