Description

The Seniors Men's Open is held at Kingsdown Golf Club (Yellow Tees) on 3 June 2026. Open to members and non-members; entrants must be aged 55 or over on or before the competition date. Individual stableford format using 95% of playing handicap. Two divisions: Division 1 (max playing handicap 15) and Division 2 (max playing handicap 28). Entry fee: £50 for visitors, £30 for members. Online entry closes at midnight on 27 May 2026. Maximum field size is 140 players. Includes coffee, tea and bacon roll before play, and a one-course meal after the round. Free entry into nearest-the-pin competitions on all par-3s. No refunds after the closing date. When entering online, select 'ENGLAND' (not 'United Kingdom') in the Country field.

Prizes awarded in two divisions and for overall winner, best visitor, and best home player.

Kingsdown Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the West of England, founded in 1880 and the oldest in Wiltshire. The Men's White Tees measure 6,501 yards at Par 72, while the Ladies' Red Tees play to 5,744 yards at Par 73. The course features excellent drainage allowing year-round play despite the challenging downland terrain.
