Description

The Kingsdown Ladies Open is an 18-hole Ladies Bowmaker competition (team of 4, best 2 Stableford scores to count on each hole), played off the red tees at Kingsdown Golf Club, Kingsdown, Corsham. The maximum playing handicap is 36. Entry fee is £140.00 per team of 4 for visiting teams, or £60.00 per team of 4 for Kingsdown member teams; mixed teams of Kingsdown members and visitors must enter by phone on 01225 743472. Entry includes tea, coffee and a pastry on arrival. Food after the round is not included but can be pre-ordered and paid for at the bar. Buggies are available for hire and must be pre-booked via the pro shop on 01225 742634. Online entry closes at 11:59 pm on 9 June 2026. No refunds are given after the closing date.

Kingsdown Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the West of England, founded in 1880 and the oldest in Wiltshire. The course is a downland layout renowned for its stunning scenery and beautiful fairways with superb greens. The Men's White Tees measure 6,501 yards at Par 72, while the Ladies' Red Tees play to 5,744 yards at Par 73. The course features excellent drainage allowing year-round play despite the challenging downland terrain.
