The Men's Open at Kingsdown Golf Club is an 18-hole Stableford betterball pairs competition played from the White tees on Saturday 27 June 2026. Open to men. The maximum playing handicap is 18; players with a higher handicap index may enter but must play from handicap 18. A handicap allowance of 85% applies. Entry fee is £100 per pair for visitors and £50 per pair for Kingsdown members; fees must be paid to complete entry. Pairings that include both a Kingsdown member and a visitor must enter and pay by phone on 01225 743472 rather than online. Online entry closes at 12:30pm on 23 June 2026. The entry fee includes a bacon roll and coffee on arrival and a single-course meal with coffee after the round; players with specific dietary requirements should advise the club at the time of entry. When entering online, players should select 'ENGLAND' (not 'United Kingdom') in the Country field.

Kingsdown Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the West of England, founded in 1880 and the oldest in Wiltshire. The course is a downland layout renowned for its stunning scenery and beautiful fairways with superb greens. The Men's White Tees measure 6,501 yards at Par 72, while the Ladies' Red Tees play to 5,744 yards at Par 73. The course features excellent drainage allowing year-round play despite the challenging downland terrain. Members and visitors consistently praise the course as challenging yet playable, with interesting and quirky features throughout the 18 holes. The course is known for holding up exceptionally well in all weather conditions.
