Half Open Competition

A 9-hole open competition held on the Sazanaka course at Kawaguchi City Ukima Golf Course. The event is open to the public and entries are accepted by phone (TEL 048-253-1883), with bookings taken from two months before the event date. Scoring uses the new Pechery (modified bogey) system, in which hidden handicap holes determine the handicap allowance, giving all players a chance to finish near the top. Prizes include top-10 placing prizes, jump prizes at every 10th place (20th, 30th, etc.), a best gross prize, and a booby prize. The 11 December 2026 event is one of the Friday half open competitions run in November and December.
