PAR-Tee: Oktoberfest Texas Scramble

Oktoberfest PAR-Tee - Texas Scramble is a traditional autumn golf event held at Golfbaan Bentwoud on Saturday 10 October 2026. Players compete in a Texas Scramble format in teams of four, where the team selects the best ball after each shot and plays from that position. The competition is played as net strokeplay with handicaps maximised at 36; team handicap is calculated as the sum of the four players' handicaps divided by 8 (50% allowance). Men play from the yellow tees and women from the red tees. For flights of three players, the handicap sum is divided by 6. Only fully completed scorecards count. Individual entries are accepted and will be paired into teams of four. The event starts with registration from 13:00, with the 9-hole competition beginning around 14:30. After the round, from 17:00, there is a welcome drink and prize ceremony at Restaurant Roest, followed by a German dinner at approximately 18:00. The entry fee is EUR 59 per person for non-round-card holders, which includes 9 holes of golf, a bottle of water on the course, a drink on arrival, and the dinner. Round-card holders pay EUR 31.50 plus one round-card tick. Entries must be submitted by Thursday 8 October at 12:00 via the online form. The start list is sent out on 8 October. Themed dress is encouraged (lederhosen, dirndl, etc.) but not mandatory.
