The Parkstone Ladies' Open is a team Bowmaker Stableford competition held at Parkstone Golf Club. Teams consist of three players, with the best two scores on each hole counting towards the team score. The event is open to visiting amateur ladies who hold a valid Handicap Index of less than 30.0. England Golf (EG) numbers are required at entry. Playing handicap is calculated at 85% of Course Handicap. The entry fee (currently TBC) includes coffee or tea on arrival and a lunch buffet either before or after the round. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum of 90 teams. No refunds are issued once the draw has been published, though substitutes are accepted. The draw is published the following day and start sheets are emailed to players. PGA Vouchers are awarded to the top five placed teams, as well as prizes for best front 9, best back 9, and nearest the pin on holes 7 and 16. No team may win more than one prize. The competition is played under the Club's Code of Conduct for Open Competitions.

Parkstone Golf Club, located between Bournemouth and Poole on Dorset's South Coast, is ranked in the top 100 golf courses in Great Britain and Ireland by both Golf Monthly and Golf World magazines. Founded in 1909 by Lord Wimborne, the course has established itself as one of the finest on the South Coast, famously described by 1938 Open Championship winner Reg Whitcombe as "There Is No Better Place." The club is situated approximately one mile from the nearest train station and nine miles from the nearest airport, making it easily accessible.
