South Head Golf Club

Auckland, New Zealand

South Head Golf Club is located 50 minutes from Auckland CBD in Waioneke, situated on gentle rolling terrain with spectacular views of the Kaipara Harbour. The course is regarded as one of greater Auckland's "hidden gems," offering a challenging yet fair test for golfers of all abilities. The layout features sculptured Kikuyu-grassed fairways and manicured greens built on a sand base, which provides excellent drainage and has earned the course a reputation as a fine all-weather venue that typically remains playable when others close due to wet conditions. This all-weather capability is a defining characteristic of the course. South Head welcomes visitors year-round and caters to golfers of varying skill levels. The club offers equipment for hire including clubs, carts, and trundlers, along with competitive green fee rates positioned as the best value in Auckland. For regular golfers, the club provides membership options featuring some of the lowest subscriptions available in the region. The facility also accommodates group and corporate functions.
