Wednesday Open Singles Series 2026

The Wednesday Open Singles Series at Fermoy Golf Club is a weekly competition held on Wednesdays, open to both men and ladies. The series uses stableford scoring with singles format. Entry fee is €25 for visitors and €6 for members. Online booking is available via the BRS Golf booking system. Players must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard if without a handicap. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies: no denims, shorts, football/rugby tops, and only soft spikes permitted. Weekly prizes are awarded to the top 3 players and Best Visitor each week. The top 3 players from each weekly competition qualify for the Grand Final on Saturday 5th September 2026, which includes tea/coffee and scones, an 18-hole playoff, dinner, and prize-giving.
