Wednesday Open Singles Series 2026

The Wednesday Open Singles Series at Fermoy Golf Club is a weekly singles competition held on Wednesdays throughout the season (13 May – 26 August 2026), open to both men and ladies. Each week, the top three players qualify for the Grand Final on Saturday 5 September 2026, which includes an 18-hole playoff followed by dinner and prize-giving. Entry fee is €25 for visitors and €6 for members. Online booking is available via the BRS golf booking system. Handicap limits: men off 28, ladies off 36. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies; only soft spikes permitted. Weekly prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd place and Best Visitor. The Grand Final offers additional prizes including Callaway Irons, Powacaddy Waterproof Bag, Rangefinder, Nike Shoes, and a Golf Bag. Sponsored by McGuirks Golf Fota.
