Wednesday Open Singles Series 2026

The Wednesday Open Singles Series at Fermoy Golf Club is a weekly Wednesday competition running from 13 May 2026 to 26 August 2026, open to both ladies and gentlemen. Entry is €6 for members and €25 for visitors, with online booking available via BRS Golf or by calling the club on 025 31472. Weekly prizes are awarded to the top 3 players and the best visitor each week. The top 3 players from each week qualify for the grand final on Saturday 5 September 2026, which includes an 18-hole playoff followed by dinner and prize-giving, with tea, coffee and scones available. The grand final prizes include Callaway Irons (1st), Powacaddy Waterproof Bag (2nd), Rangefinder (3rd), Nike Shoes (4th), and a Golf Bag (5th). The series is sponsored by McGuirks Golf Fota.
